Developing software with AI agents – but how?
Agentic Engineering or iSAQB AGENTA? Two training courses on new approaches to software development
Coding agents are fundamentally transforming software development. They no longer simply write individual lines of code, but are able to analyse requirements, examine existing systems, implement changes across multiple files, create tests and take on increasingly complex development tasks. This raises two key questions for software teams:
- How can I work effectively with coding agents in software development?
- What should architectural work look like when more and more software is being developed with the support of coding agents?
With Agentic Engineering and the new iSAQB module AGENTA, WPS offers two training courses that cover precisely these two perspectives. They deal with the same development process – but approach it from different angles.
Agentic Engineering: Developing software with coding agents
Anyone who tries out Claude Code, Cursor and other coding agents will quickly realise that their potential goes far beyond traditional code completion. However, good results do not come about automatically simply because an AI agent is given access to a repository.
In our Agentic Engineering training course, you’ll learn how coding agents can be used professionally and effectively in software development.
The focus is on practical collaboration between humans and AI: how do we provide agents with the right context? Which tasks can they take on? How do we design development processes in which AI not only generates code, but is meaningfully integrated into analysis, implementation, refactoring, testing and reviews? And which proven engineering practices help to maintain quality and control?
In short:
Agentic Engineering shows how we develop software with AI agents.
The training is aimed in particular at developers, architects and tech leads who want to do more than just try out coding agents – they want to use them systematically in their day-to-day work.
