From Legacy to the Cloud - Mistakes you don't want to make yourself
Hear the story of a company on its way from the old monolithic on-premises waterfall world to the new modular, agile, domain-driven, multi-tenant, cloud-based microservices world. The challenges come from different directions: Both technical and organisational aspects need to be mastered. The domain needs to be understood so that the system can be structured properly. The big bang has to be avoided.
In this talk we will look at how our fictitious company struggles with these challenges and finally overcomes them.
