Explain technical debt to management
Today, we no longer develop software on a greenfield site, but we extend and change existing systems. In the process, the code becomes more and more complex and accumulates technical debt. In the development team, we are all aware of this, but how do we explain to management that it makes sense to reduce technical debt early on?
In this talk, I will also share my experience from a wide range of contexts and give recommendations on how to leapfrog the communication barrier between management and development teams.
