Unix/Linux skills for Java developers
In the times of "Microsoft ♥ Linux", Docker and DevOps, every developer should have basic knowledge of Unix, even if they develop under MacOS or Windows. Because under the bonnet, MacOS is a Unix. With the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Windows Terminal, you can use Unix tools directly on your Windows development machine.
In this talk, we'll look a bit into the history and then mainly at the tools available to us on the command line. If you like, bring your laptop and try out the commands yourself.
