Dr Guido Gryczan elected to the iSAQB Executive Board

We are pleased to share some special news from the international software architecture community: Dr Guido Gryczan, Managing Director of WPS, has been elected to the board of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board e. V. (iSAQB), where he will assume the office of First Chairman.

The election took place during the 16th General Assembly of the iSAQB, which was held virtually on 19 September 2025. With this new appointment, the association is setting an important course for the strategic further development of its globally established training programme CPSA - Certified Professional for Software Architecture.

Strengthening software architecture - worldwide and at the WPS

For many years, the iSAQB has stood for high quality and international standards in the training of software architects. As a long-standing partner and official training provider for iSAQB certifications, WPS actively supports this mission - through practical training, experienced trainers and the close connection between theory and real project experience.

The fact that Dr Guido Gryczan, a managing director of WPS, is now taking on a leading role on the iSAQB board underlines this close connection and our common goal:

To sustainably strengthen the profession of software architecture and pass on expertise at the highest level - especially in the context of current technological upheavals such as the increasing use of artificial intelligence.

Commitment beyond the boundaries of the company

Dr Guido Gryczan brings with him many years of experience in consulting, software architecture projects and the training of IT specialists. He sees his new role at the iSAQB as a contribution to the further development of the entire discipline - and therefore also as an investment in the quality of future IT systems.
