Model-Driven Architecture - a post-mortem analysis
In this episode we deal with a deceased, the "Model-Driven Architecture" (MDA). We examine this twenty-year-old approach of the Object Management Group together with our guest Andreas von Benten, who has decades of experience in model-driven software development.
Andreas also explains to us in the podcast that MDA and Model-Driven Software Development (MDSD) are not the same thing, and that MDSD can certainly be a sensible choice under certain conditions. However, this does not diminish our pleasure in being able to dance a little on the grave of MDA.
