When the Privacy Shield broke
The "Privacy Shield" broke down before the European Court of Justice on 16 July 2020. The agreement between the European Union and the United States was supposed to ensure that data could be transferred between the two economic areas in a legally secure manner. Without this shield, data worthy of protection from Europe can generally no longer be entrusted to American companies without the threat of legal danger.
