What is SignScript?

SignScript is a writing system that can be used to record sign language. SignScript consists of easy-to-understand symbols that represent hand shapes, movements, places of execution and various mimic expressions of signs.

SignScript pictures illustrate individual signs and, as the examples show, are easy to follow. With SignScript we build a bridge between German Sign Language and German written language.
