ROADS Level 4 implements the requirements for operating area authorisation set out in the AFGBV completely digitally. This includes the OZG-compliant application by the keeper, the authorisation and monitoring of operating areas by the road operator and the connection of vehicle manufacturers.

Simple application process

Operators of driverless vehicles can submit applications easily and step by step. The system checks the completeness and correctness of the documents, shows the processing status at all times and provides an overview even if there are several applications.

Monitoring of issued authorisations

Road operators retain control over active authorisations and can suspend them if necessary. A map-based overview shows all operating areas. Suspension rules can be linked to traffic events and vehicle manufacturers are automatically informed.

Future-proof and expandable

As the AFGBV is regularly developed further, ROADS Level 4 is designed in such a way that new requirements or extensions can be flexibly integrated into the workflows - legally compliant today and future-proof tomorrow.
