One example of this is its use in the airport environment. An integrated control centre with AI-supported scheduling was developed for Hamburg Airport, which optimises deployment plans for vehicles such as buses or baggage transporters and simultaneously creates forecasts for additional business. The AI processes historical data and operational framework conditions to support well-founded decisions in real time.

The benefits of agentic engineering are also clearly evident in the area of data quality. A multi-port community system was developed for the Rhine ports, which digitalises the exchange of information between companies. An integrated AI component checks free text entries for goods in real time, corrects them automatically and thus sustainably improves the quality of handling statistics and invoicing.

In the industrial environment, AI-based approaches are used for automated inspection, for example. A system was developed for HHLA Sky in which drones independently capture high-resolution images, which are then analysed by an AI. Damage to infrastructure components is automatically recognised and appropriate measures are initiated, significantly reducing inspection times and costs.

Another example is the use of AI in knowledge-intensive processes. An advisory system for Raphaelswerk has been expanded to include AI functionalities that generate targeted response suggestions based on structured data and historical information. In the future, the use of large language models will help to automatically create customised content and make consulting processes significantly more efficient.

These examples show that agentic engineering is not a theoretical concept, but is already being used productively in a wide range of industries. The decisive factor here is not the isolated use of individual tools, but the systematic integration of AI into architecture, processes and organisation.
