Infrastructure, containers and cloud-native
iSAQB module CLOUDINFRA
The iSAQB Advanced module CLOUDINFRA teaches knowledge and skills for the design and development of dynamic cloud-native architectures. Modern applications must be scalable, fault-tolerant and dynamically placeable in order to be state of the art and maintainable for as long as possible.
Cloud-native architectures offer a solution to fulfil these requirements. In this module, participants will learn how applications can be reliably operated with containers, how to set up targeted monitoring, establish needs-based alerting, manage data and integrate microservice architectures. In addition, typical concepts of current container managers are examined and it is shown how common quality requirements can be realised. Common cloud providers are also analysed and automated options are demonstrated.
As part of the iSAQB Certified Professional for Software Architecture, Advanced Level (CPSA-A), participants receive 10 methodological and 20 technical credit points for their participation. Participation in this three-day training course enables participants to learn the basic terms and application scenarios as well as architectural concepts of modern cloud-native applications and to familiarise themselves with the operational aspects of cloud-native, continuous deployment and helpful patterns.
