"Deep Dive Docker and Deep Dive Kubernetes

In the iSAQB training CLOUDINFRA we look at the technologies Docker and Kubernetes on a conceptual level. Only a selection of the most important concepts can be demonstrated and practised in three training days. Therefore, following the CLOUDINFRA training, we offer you two optional deep-dive days on Docker and Kubernetes that build on each other.

The focus of the deep dive days is on trying things out for yourself and familiarising yourself with the technology. The only requirement for the Deep Dive is your own notebook with an installed SSH client. We will provide everything else.

Day 1 - "Deep Dive Docker".

On the first deep dive day, you will get the opportunity to work hands-on with Docker. For one day, you will work with our trainers on practical exercises. Together, we will set up a monitoring stack using Docker, then you will "Dockerise" a system we have given you and deploy it.

Day 2 - Deep Dive Kubernetes

On the second in-depth day, we start with the basic constructs of Kubernetes and get into practice as quickly as possible: You build on your results from the first day and deploy your practice system in your own Kubernetes cluster. In doing so, we will explore the possibilities of Kubernetes step by step.

Target Group

Developers and architects with practical experience in the design and development of small to medium-sized software systems. Initial practical experience in the maintenance or further development of software systems as well as in dealing with containers and their deployment is an advantage.
