Model-Driven Architecture - a post-mortem analysis
In this episode, we take a closer look at a deceased model-driven architecture (MDA). Together with our guest Andreas von Benten, who has decades of experience in model-driven software development, we perform an autopsy on this twenty-year-old approach from the Object Management Group.
Andreas also explains to us in the podcast that MDA and Model-Driven Software Development (MDSD) are not the same thing, and that MDSD can be a sensible choice under certain conditions. However, this does not detract from our joy at being able to dance a little on the grave of MDA.
