Katharina Ecke

Katharina Ecke has been with WPS since 2020, initially as a working student and, since October 2022, as a permanent software developer. Having started out on a full-stack career using Angular on the front end and Spring on the back end, her focus today lies in the DevOps field: Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab CI and Terraform, from the pipeline right through to live operations. She particularly enjoys getting to the heart of complex problems and solving them cleanly.

Her second, ever-expanding area of focus is artificial intelligence in its entirety: agent-based software development (Agentic Engineering), AI-supported knowledge management, and the secure deployment of AI agents (MCP, prompt injection, isolated agents). She works with AI tools on a daily basis and shares her knowledge through talks and training courses.
